Hairdressing courses offered at Clifden Hedz Academy
There are a range of courses available. Clifden Hedz Academy offer two day cutting courses year round for Beginning ,Intermediate and Advanced Hairdressers. A 10 hour “Style your hair yourself ” Hair styling course. C.H. Academy is a FETAC approved training centre for hairdressing. We are offering a 30% discount on FETAC courses at Clifden Hedz Academy. A year of education covers a wide range of FETAC courses costing €2,950. The courses run consecutively one day per week for a year.
A series of Hairdressing courses have a rolling enrollment (You can start at any point of the year) FETAC level 5 awards in Hairdressing (Theory & Practical), Hairdressing Science, Work Experience, Beautician.
Part-time courses are 1 day per week, Tuesday. From 10am to 5pm

Two day cutting courses are available on a Sunday and Monday every month and are currently being offered at a 25% discounted price €299. The range of courses are Classic, Contemporary, and Advanced.
No prior experience is required for the Classic cutting course although any would be helpful.
“Style Your Hair Yourself” is a 10 hour practical skills training course to help people do a variety of things on their own hair. The course is broken up into 5 evenings that cover a range of skills from blowdrying to using Irons, upstyling and more.
Prior Learning will be recognised and may assist learners in achieving a full major FETAC award, and systems and procedures are in place at Clifden Hedz Academy to assist with Recognition of Prior Learning.
Clifden Hedz Academy can provide opportunities for access, transfer and progression to other programmes or awards in the National Framework for Education.
